Hell, the "IRL" thing doesn't apply here, either. Even guys with AKs are referred to as snipers if they're shooting from concealment. No ghillie suit or even a "sniper rifle" is required.

yes it does, snipers use camouflage and act as recon units behind enemy lines. Marksmen move with the squad and snipe guys.

People will get over not having prone. Just like people had to get over actually having prone when prone was first introduced in games.

And this sniper debate...If you have a SNIPER rifle, your a SNIPER.

Look were talking about a game man and not real life. Unless this place has suddenly turned into a US Army forum what your talking about doesn't apply. In fact I think the class on Bad Company 2 with the sniper rifle is called Recon and not Sniper class anyway. So it wouldn't matter whether they have a ghillie suit or not. We just call them snipers in game because thats what they are doing, sniping people.
